The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting 43 cases of cyclosporiasis in Wisconsin, which causes not only diarrhea but nausea and stomach cramps. It has been found in 31 states so far.
The cyclospora parasite that causes it has been found in contaminated fresh produce like raspberries and lettuce and in untreated water.
