DHI Corp., a home products company headquartered in Mequon in Ozaukee County, will relocate its corporate headquarters to downtown Milwaukee, according to an Oct. 19 report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

DHI said it will move about 25 employees to a 4,500-square-foot space at 1037 W. McKinley Ave. in Milwaukee’s Pabst District.

“Milwaukee gives us access to the talent and business relationships that will help DHI continue to grow and compete,” JP Drevline, the company’s CEO, said in a statement. “This move is an investment in our people, our growth, and the community where our company began.”

The company was founded in 1872 in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood and is best known for the Design House and Leick Home brands.
