Delta Air Lines said its profit goals should be met for the year, CNBC reported. The company said it plans to keep airfare prices high to cover higher fuel costs, even as oil prices drop.

“I think it’s sustainable,” CEO Ed Bastian told CNBC in an interview.

Bastian said the company anticipates demand for flight travel to continue.

On Friday, Delta said it expects to top third-quarter per-share earnings estimates. Delta expects $2 to $2.50, above the $2.02 estimate.

Delta also had a strong second quarter, with revenue coming in at $17.67 billion versus the $17.53 billion that was expected.

Bastian also said World Cup demand was stronger than planned.
