The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is accepting applications for Buy Local, Buy Wisconsin grants until Nov. 4.

DATCP will award up to $200,000 total in Buy Local, Buy Wisconsin grant funding in 2026.

The grants, which provide consumers with access to more Wisconsin-grown food products, are awarded as part of a competitive program.

Among the products are organic vegetables, hops varieties, hazelnut products and locally grown grain.

Eligible projects can receive grant funds for up to three years, and requests must be between $5,000 and $50,000.

Among the qualified applicants are individuals, groups or businesses involved in Wisconsin agriculture, food processing, food distribution, food warehousing and retail food establishments.

DATCP will use a review process to select the most qualified projects. Grant information and application materials are on the agency’s website.
