Residents are invited to learn about how the Dane County budget is formed, how they can participate in the budget and more.
The Dane County Board of Supervisors will host four public community engagement sessions on how the county budget is built, reviewed and adopted. Residents can also learn how and when they can partake in the process.
Each session will also offer people a chance to ask questions and share priorities. Sessions will last 90 minutes.
Dates for the sessions include:
- Tuesday, July 28, 6 p.m., Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa St.
- Thursday, July 30, 5:30 p.m., Hybrid session: Centro (Madison office), 2403 Cypress Way. Online sessions will be on Zoom; more information at 608-228-9053.
- Tuesday, Aug. 4, 5:30 p.m., The Grove, 314 Anne St., Mazomanie
- Friday, Aug. 7, 12:30 p.m., Windsor Community Center, 4428 Windsor Road, Windsor
