Cybernews releases AI Trustworthiness Ranking of 500 AI companies

A new Cybernews AI Trustworthiness Ranking assessed Google as the safest among 500 AI companies from 36 countries.

The ranking used publicly available information related to security, data privacy, organizational transparency and public perception. Companies’ trustworthiness was given a score between 0-100.

Following Google were Krip, Fireflies.ai, Adobe, Magnific, Writesonic, Veryfi, Salesforce, Grammarly and Lovable.

Security received the lowest average score of all measures assessed, just 32/100, while organizational transparency on average received 90/100.

Office and productivity companies received the highest average score of 78/100, while music and audio companies ranked lowest at 54/100. 

In addition, the analysis found that 63% of AI companies do not clearly disclose whether they use user data to train their AI models, and 65% do not disclose how long they keep user data.
