A new $45 million senior living community will break ground on July 1.
Capitol Lakes will begin working on Bassett Place, which features independent living apartments, an art studio, music spaces and a rooftop lounge.
Bassett Place will have 49 apartments that range from 1,060 square feet to 1,830. It is expected to open in fall 2027.
Capitol Lakes will host a groundbreaking ceremony the same day at 10 a.m. at Capitol Lakes Campus at 333 W. Main St.
