Metro Transit announced bus service disruptions on Thursday as a result of an “extreme number” of driver absences, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Metro said the nature of the shortage makes it difficult to predict which routes would be impacted, but it has deployed all available drivers to maintain service to the best of its ability.
Real-time information is available for Metro Transit routes. The agency said it is “actively working to make adjustments and get service back on track, but at this time, [it] is unable to provide an exact timeline.”
