Two candidates remain in the search for Madison College’s next president, WMTV15 reports. Dr. Carlos O. Cortez withdrew from consideration.
Dr. Muddassir Siddiqi and Dr. Tia Robinson-Cooper are the remaining candidates for the position. The Madison College District Board of Trustees will select the winner later this year.
The chosen candidate will succeed President Dr. Jack E. Daniels III, who has served the college for over 11 years and plans to retire in January.
