Tequila for Ta-Tas, a popular grassroots fundraiser in the fight against breast cancer, will be held on Sept. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Tri-North Builders, 2625 Research Park Drive, in Fitchburg.
The fundraiser, which began in 2015, has not only raised $200,000 for cancer research, it honors those who have lost their battles with metastatic breast cancer.
The goal is to make metastatic breast cancer a survivable condition and this year marks a new era because Tequila for Ta-Tas has officially become its own 501(c)(3) organization.
It will also have a new look with a boardwalk theme and the usual thirst quenching margaritas, food and games.
“As Tequila for Ta-Tas was originally founded by Tri-North Builders, it has been such a privilege to witness the impact firsthand,” Tri-North Vice President Anna Stern said in a press release. “Not only is it a way to honor those we lost to metastatic breast cancer, but also a means to help fund research for affected patients from near and far.”
