Aleris Nutrition, a Brazilian manufacturer of livestock food additives, has opened its first U.S. facility in Menomonee Falls, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The 15,795-square-foot facility, located at N52 W13673 Northpark Drive, will initially employ about 15 people and concentrate on specialty feed additives and yeast fermentation.
The facility will support the expansion of the company’s products throughout North America.
Aleris Nutrition is headquartered in Jundiai, Sao Paulo, in southeastern Brazil.
“Aleris has experienced significant growth in the United States in recent years, and that growth naturally led us to consider this market the right location for our international expansion,” CEO Daniel Morais said.
