Badger Meter Inc., a Brown Deer-based manufacturer of water measuring equipment, has acquired 37South, an Australian utility technology and remote monitoring company, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Terms of the transaction were not reported, but the deal will enable Badger Meter to expand its geographic reach with a company that has served Australia’s utility sector for nearly 20 years.
In a Nov. 3 statement, Badger Meter Chairman, President and CEO Kenneth Bockhorst said “37South brings proven Australian deployments, established utility relationships and hands-on technical capability.”
