B2 Web Studios, an Appleton web design, development and hosting company, has launched FoxCitiesTornado.com, a free, centralized resource guide created in response to the tornado that struck the Fox Cities of Wisconsin on July 27.

The website is meant for residents, businesses and community organizations affected by the storm to have one searchable, easy to navigate location for important information across government websites, news reports and social media.

The website includes information related to emergency shelter, housing, food and water; power outages and utility updates; cleanup and debris removal; insurance and disaster assistance; contractor and disaster-related scam warnings and other information related to disaster recovery.

“We saw important information being shared everywhere, but there was no single place where residents could quickly find what they needed,” said Brett Belau, owner of B2 Web Studios. “We built FoxCitiesTornado.com to help organize those resources and make this incredibly difficult situation a little easier to navigate.”

Local agencies, nonprofits, businesses and residents are encouraged to submit missing resources, updates or corrections through the website.

Information will continue to be reviewed and updated as recovery efforts develop.
