61st annual Art Fair on the Square

The 61st annual Art Fair on the Square took place July 13–14 in downtown Madison, with nearly 500 artists in 489 booths selling art and fine crafts. This event is the largest fundraiser for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA). Art Fair on the Square is unique among other large summer events because the proceeds benefit the wider community by providing year-round free admission to the museum, free education programs in the museum and out around Dane County, as well as dynamic art events—which combined engage nearly 500,000 people a year.
