The Urban League of Dane County and the city of Madison announced the opening of the Southwest Madison Employment Center in the former Griff’s Restaurant at 1233 McKenna Blvd., across from Elver Park.
It is the first community-based employment and training center in Madison, and a grand opening ceremony is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
