Commercial Design Awards Celebration

IB's fifth annual Commercial Design Awards honored the best building designs in the State of Wisconsin, selected by a panel of three judges: Mark C. Fenton, Vice President, Leopardo Companies, Inc., Chicago; Geoffrey Hurtado, Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities, UW-Milwaukee; and Bob Greenstreet, former Milwaukee City Planner and current Dean of the School of Architecture & Urban Planning at UW-Milwaukee.

The dinner event was held at the Sheraton Madison Hotel and began with a panel discussion on the Vision for Development in Greater Madison, followed by an awards program for winners in each of 8 categories. From that group of honorees, the Project of the Year was unveiled. Chazen Museum of Art took the top honors and became the cover of In Business magazine's May 2012 issue.
