Back to School?!
submitted by Corey Chambas
Ah, it's the end of summer and the kids are going back to school. Some of us are prepping our own kids for this adventure and some of us have kids beyond this stage in life. Regardless of your situation, I'm guessing you have fond "back to school" memories from your childhood.

Sure, there was some anxiety. I personally dreaded not being able to sleep in like I managed to do in the summer. Full Story full story

A More Critical Look at Green Building
I am a true believer when it comes to green building and sustainability. This article is a good look at green building, its technology, benefits, and drawbacks, particularly for the commercial market and comparing our thinking processes as we see it on the residential side. I'm pleased to read about some good analysis on what is really going on and see that there is math and science behind it. – James W, Madison, WI
State job growth encouraging, but nothing to get excited about yet.
I see some shifts in the economy - positive shifts both on the client side and within our own business. It's not like it was in 05 - 07 but it is improving. Smart companies are always looking for fantastic people. Finding each other appears to be the only challenge. We recently had a position open but of the hundreds of applicants, only a few were truly qualified. The fear in the marketplace has sent many scrambling - applying for whatever is open. People looking for jobs must remember what they are excellent at and focus on finding a place where they can do it. To the best of my knowledge, Obama's economic stimulus package didn't do anything for my small business but having my head in the game and having fantastic people on my team made a big difference. – Laura Gallagher, Madison, WI
T.Wall's Tales from the Trail, Part 4: Why Did I Exit?
I wish Vicki would be as fair with Dave Westlake, the other Republican challenger of Mr. Johnson. I don't believe he's getting a fair shake to tell his message to the voters and he's gaining a lot of support from people who hear his message. Westlake is getting over 90% of some tea party group's support like the 912 project in their straw poll votes. Mike – Mike Fernan, Madison
